Mo & Cali, The Inspiration

Abbi Sawyer, Calimo Creator

Abbi is the founder of Calimo Design Co. She named it after the two loves of her life, Mo (the mischievous Australian Shepherd) and Cali (the loving Lab mix). These two are a daily reminder of all things good in the world and since she was unwilling to share them with anyone else, Abbi figured it was time to add more good by creating hand crafted pieces that made others smile. Starting with her love for all things pooch and sewing, Abbi first tried her hand at dog bandanas. Several prototypes were made and eventually, Abbi created a bandana that was size adjustable, washable, and rid her pups of any choking threats when they started wrestling during play dates. This new bandana is what we offer today. We hope you love it as much as we do!
